This is a word that has not evolved in 2,500 years.
Do you have any idea how weird that is? Words don’t not evolve. But this one hasn’t.
I looked up the Etymology. It is Greek for “a parallelogram with opposite equal acute angles, opposite equal obtuse angles, and four equal sides.” And there has been no Evolution of this word 2,500 years.
This blows away the concept that “Language is Evolutionary.” Because Rhombus is a word that is a Constant.
